So this fall, we are apparently going to see a return to the ’60′s style of fashion. Wow, that’s certainly going a ways back and should prove to be interesting seeing as how many of our kids with their Facebook and toshiba laptop computers weren’t even born back then. So old is the new new, eh?

So let’s see, we’re talking sheath dresses (recently made popular again by the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton), cinched waists and pencil skirts which require a slim silhouette to pull off nicely. High necklines and short lengths are back in. Also be sure to go with the bold prints and colors. So are you ready for the ’60′s?

Summer is coming quickly to an end. Are you ready for fall? I think fall is such an exciting time for fashion. We really don’t have to look much further than the colors of fall foliage to know what’s in. Rich colors are in so think reds, greens, camels to reflect the vivid changing colors of leaves.

Just layer to your heart’s content with diagonal cut separates, cropped sweaters and sweeping maxi dresses. And while you’re at it, feel free to mix leather with silk, or lace with sequins, or wild prints with geometrics. Pretty much anything goes as long as they lift you up like atv winches!

And there’s this year’s fall fashion trend for you in a nutshell.

Take a look around any drug store and you’ll find tons of anti-aging products which leads me to think women don’t have to look old if they don’t want to. Am I making any sense here? Apparently there’s an anti wrinkle cream available to fix any part of your body and hair dyes to fix those grays.

You can apparently also help the process along by eating lots of fruits and vegetables to banish any signs of aging. And if all else fails and money permits, there’s always cosmetic surgery and the like. How far would you go to retain your youth?

Do you ever make a shopping list before you hit the stores? Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t. Hence the problem when I forget and miss something and then find myself making another trip to the store *sigh*.

One way to beat forgetfulness and give yourself some lead time is to buy in bulk. I tend to stock up on items like multivitamin, toiletries and stationery. These items go fast so it’s good to have extra stock on hand. I find it really works great.

It’s wise to at least have a glance through your credit statement to ensure the items listed are the actual purchases you made. Most of the items should be familiar to you so if something unusual like say, an amount for incontinence products, should raise a red flag right away.
