I’m been a workout freak lately, jumping out of bed and into the shower and straight to the gym right after the kids get out the door to school.
Well, though I’m not strictly on a mission to lose weight, I have to confess there’s still a whole lot about diet and nutrition that I’m interested to find out about.
I’ve been doing most of my reading at myLifetime.com. Well, let me put it this way, it feels like I’m sitting at a hair salon and flipping through those stacks of women’s magazines like crazy trying to catch up with the latest trends in beauty and fashion, horoscopes, and fitness advice.
Well, you go and have a look and you’ll understand what I mean.

I go through a pair of sports shoes once a year, I think. Well, they don’t make shoes the way they used to. I go to the gym all the time but I don’t thrash them or anything, they just don’t last these days.
Anyways here’s my lime-green Reeboks. Okay, I didn’t do a good job with the picture but you get the idea
! Lime-green is my new love. It’s so cool!

At any rate, I’m lucky I found this pair which is actually for court sports. I don’t do court sports. But who cares! It’s not like I’m seriously going to buy a different shoe for a different sport, right?

I recently bought a pair of power goggles. See, even if you’re short-sighted, you shouldn’t resign yourself to being blind at the pool.
As long as your myopia is below 700 degrees, you will be able to find a pair. You should buy a pair which is about 50 degrees below your reading because everything becomes clearer and sharper in water so it kinda offsets quite well.
When I went to the store, I found that power goggles have their own shelf so that means that they’re pretty popular items. They’re really great and cost only slightly more than the regular ones.
