Well, looks like Wednesday is here again. I’ve decided to lay off posting the Shopping Wise Wednesday meme since someone decided to take advantage of last week’s Mr Linky by leaving a link to their blog without posting my meme.
The link led to a Photo Hunt post on their blog, Fickle Minded, instead. Quite frankly, that wasn’t a very nice thing to do at all.
The other thing is that the response to Shopping Wise Wednesday has been extremely poor (I haven’t actively promoted it) so I’m taking it off the air for now…
… and go shopping instead. Yes, I’m off to a big sale today and I’m pretty excited. It’s going to be very crowded so I’m planning to be there early to snap up the goodies.

It’s not quite Wednesday yet, I know, but I’d like to get an early start on my first edition of the Shopping Wise Wednesday meme 
. The idea of this meme is to get to know each other, share shopping ideas and tips and just talk shop.
I’ll be posting a shopping topic or question each Wednesday. All you have to do is write up a post on your own blog discussing this week’s topic or question, then come back here and drop your name and link into Mr Linky’s box below.
Don’t forget to leave a comment as well so we can visit your blog. Since this is the first edition, I would really appreciate it if you could tag 2 or 3 other people to get the ball rolling.
Okay then, on with this week’s topic…
It seems most of us have our favorite day of the week to go shopping.
Personally I like to shop towards the end of the school week, on Fridays actually, when I’m not so pressed for time picking up and dropping off my kids.
I also like that Fridays are less crowded at the stores and less stressful for me. I don’t have to act like a vulture in the parking lot and I can take my sweet time browsing and checking stuff out.
Most grocery stores list their new weekly promotions on Thursday or Friday, so that’s a good time for me to beat the weekend crowd to the promo items 
.
