This year’s swimsuits are so gorgeous not only in terms of colors but also the combination of fabric textures. In fact, some of the swimsuits I’ve featured may even be too pretty to swim in. But hey, who says you need to swim in these pieces? A lot of times, women just pamper themselves with the best airbrush tanning solution and then strut around in these swimwear all day without even getting them wet at all. Swimsuits are now as much a fashion item than an functional outfit for exercise and fitness, it seems. Do you agree? © Subscribe to Shopperista in an RSS reader or via email, or follow me on Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest for fabulous shopping deals every day!

It seems like the warm weather just seems to be getting warmer all the time. Is that the case for you too? At one point, we may all have been wondering if we should really be going all out for lighter clothing and shoes, or even if it’s time yet to head down to the beach. After this past sizzler of a weekend, I’m thinking yes, bring out all the summer stuff now – the swimwear and lighter clothing like rompers and pretty dresses which I have been featuring a lot lately. Not to forget it’s prom season and also you might be getting ready to go on vacation. Never too early to start shopping. If you’re taking the kids to the beach or the pool, don’t forget to bring something to occupy them with like the latest duncan metal drifter which they’ll love, I promise. That’s the only way you will get a chance to work on that tan. Don’t forget the sunblock, is what I always say. © Subscribe to Shopperista in an RSS reader or via email, or follow me on Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest for fabulous shopping deals every day!

If you’ve been a loyal follower of this blog, you will notice that I love featuring those super-chunky platform heels. I absolutely love them. I think they bring sophistication to a whole new level. It doesn’t matter if you are wondering if you could balance yourself on flooring for basements in those super-high heels, the point is (pun intended), they make you stand head and shoulders above the crowd. Imagine when you strut into a room in those formidable heels and knock everyone’s socks off… you know, like how, in the movies, the sexy lady walks in in slow motion and everyone just stands there motionless and gaping . © Subscribe to Shopperista in an RSS reader or via email, or follow me on Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest for fabulous shopping deals every day!

So go for the baby blues, barely pinks, light yellows and pale greens. And to bring out the best in pastels, just throw on some gold bullion accents in your shoes or jewelry. There’s nothing worse than a sea of blue (or any pastel color) with nothing to catch the eye and break the monotony. © Subscribe to Shopperista in an RSS reader or via email, or follow me on Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest for fabulous shopping deals every day!

So there’s been a lot of talk lately about overly-thin women on the catwalks and most recently, on the Red Carpet. I guess being in the public eye does put a lot of pressure on women to maintain what they may think of as an ideal figure or body shape in keeping up with the expectations of the masses. Those who are naturally slim, and those who exercise and diet, obviously have nothing to worry about. But for those who resort to other means to be and to stay thin, I wonder how many of them have questioned how effective and safe is phenteripped? or whether there are any side effects to whatever weight loss programs they are on. Concerned parties are advising friends and family of people who notice a sudden or exaggerated weight loss in them to raise the issues with them to find out if anything is amiss in their lifestyles or efforts to remain thin. © Subscribe to Shopperista in an RSS reader or via email, or follow me on Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest for fabulous shopping deals every day!

I like to get creative with my old clothes. With those items that I love and can’t bear to give away, I try to breathe new life into them. It takes a little imagination and creativity to turn something old into something new – again. It doesn’t necessarily have to take a lot of work. It can be as simple as cutting off the sleeves or sewing on a few beads or making a stencil of a heart or a rivet nut to add some flair to an old outfit. There are lots of creative ideas online and Pinterest is a probably good place to start. © Subscribe to Shopperista in an RSS reader or via email, or follow me on Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest for fabulous shopping deals every day!

I was out at the mall with a friend who is looking for a titanium watch birthday gift for her significant other. The mall was unusually quiet for a Saturday morning and I was a little puzzled. It’s usually teeming with an early morning weekend crowd but today, we even managed to find a parking spot right away. We had a quiet lunch at our usual restaurant and we didn’t even have to wait in line. Then it struck me that there’s a computer fair going on downtown which probably explains it. Folks can never get enough technology, it seems! © Subscribe to Shopperista in an RSS reader or via email, or follow me on Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest for fabulous shopping deals every day!

Even now that I’ve finally got an iPhone, I have to say I’m still a little musically deprived especially when it comes to having a workout playlist. For a long time now, I’ve been saying I will get myself an mp3 player so I can work out to music. Yes, apparently workouts are more effective if you do them listening to music. Of course, not having a playlist myself, I can’t vouch for it. I really must get some help from a geeky friend and figure out my iPhone. My ortofon headphones are waiting in the wings and I can’t wait to plug them in. © Subscribe to Shopperista in an RSS reader or via email, or follow me on Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest for fabulous shopping deals every day!
