February is here and I wonder how many folks are still keeping up with their New Year resolutions of losing weight and keeping fit. With the Super Bowl, I’m guessing there’s even more motivation to work out with all the good food being passed around.

The best time to exercise is early in the morning. I think that’s the time when people are least likely to find excuses not to exercise. You get up and shrug into your workout clothes and Joe Rocket Phoenix 5 Jacket and you’re off. You get it done and out of the way before your busy day begins. How convenient is that!

With Valentine’s just 14 days away, you will see a flurry of activity here as I scramble around for more gift ideas and party dresses that you can wear on your night out. It’s definitely an opportunity not to be missed for proclaiming your love, singing it out loud from the rooftops or even just having a small party at home for the ones you love.

I can’t help it, I’m always up for any excuse to celebrate, shop or eat out. And even if I don’t celebrate an event myself, I’m always here helping you celebrate and have a good time. After the holiday shopping frenzy, I’m working late, handpicking and posting stuff for you that I would buy myself. If I had a conventional store, I’d be checking that my Retail POS System works so you have a great shopping experience. That’s how I roll.

Hard to believe but Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. If you’ve been following this blog, you’ll notice I’ve got lots of pretty dresses you can wear on your night out and just as many cutesy gift ideas you can show upon your loved ones.

To me, Valentine’s isn’t just about romantic love. I mean, it’s also a wonderful opportunity to show your love to friends and family that you love them and have a little fun while you’re at it. It’s really the thought that counts.

Officially cool but not until

Now that I’m the proud owner of an iPhone, I guess that means I’m officially cool. Wait, not so fast. My phone is still basically plain vanilla. I haven’t had time to play with it yet or to upload anything, for that matter.

I’ve been thinking, oh great, now I’ll finally have a playlist that I can take with me to the gym and my workouts will definitely be more effective when my ears are plugged with a pair of audio technica ath-m50 headphones, eh.

But first, I have to get my favorite songs uploaded but how do I do that? Sometimes the shopping is fun, getting a new toy is fun but putting it all together, not so much. Guess I need to whip out some kungfu geekery! I’ll get there soon enough .

As we all know, tis the season of good food, great friends and billowing waistlines. If anyone were to buy me a gift, they would do well to get me a yoga mat bag filled to the brim with slimming gear. Hint hint!

I’ve been saying that I will pick up yoga one of these days but so far, it’s been all talk and no action. Since I’m not one to make New Year’s resolutions (or stick to them), I’ll spare myself the guilt of making a promise I can’t keep.

What have you done so far to prepare for the holidays?

I’ve been so busy I didn’t realize the countdown to Christmas is down to 72 hours. With so much on my plate right now, I’m so unprepared this year and haven’t even finished my own shopping. I’ve just been posting tons of promos on this site, just take a look around.

My girl friend, on the other hand, has been so good this year that she’s done with her shopping just after Thanksgiving. Right now, she’s just kicking back and threatening to surf the free online dating sites for someone to bring to a Christmas party. Lucky her.

Why I love the mall

I love how the malls are brightly lit and decorated. There are so many sales and offers on that it’s hard to know where to start looking. The stores are getting crowded and frankly if I say I want to avoid the malls, don’t believe me!

I simply love going to the mall at Christmas time. I love browsing even stuff that I don’t need but would love to have such as log bedroom furniture. And of course, what’s not to love about eating out? Online shopping is great for price comparisons and convenience but it’s definitely a lot less exciting than the mall.

Need holiday gift ideas for guys and girls?

I had no idea Christmas is next week. Yup, things sure are rolling up a lot faster than I thought. If you haven’t gotten started with your gift list yet, you really should get started because the stores are going to get crowded and websites are going to load more slowly as people start realizing they really don’t have as much time as they thought to get their holiday shopping done.

Besides there are so many sales on that even if you’re not celebrating, you really should be picking up some good bargains and saving yourself a bit of money to stash away as annuity. Speaking of sales, I’m posting tons of them so be sure you take a look around this blog and see if you can find gift ideas of guys and girls.

Okay, so the biggest sales days of the year are over? That was quick. Did you manage to grab any good deals? I posted a whole bunch of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals up here and I sure hope they led you to find some fabulous ways to save money.

Celebrating mothers in the holiday season

Whether you realize it or not, a mother is the most important person in our lives. Without our mothers, we wouldn’t even be here. So while there’s that ever important Mother’s Day in the early part of the year, it’s never an excuse not to shop for mom christmas gifts around this time of year.

Mothers are always there cooking, cleaning, making sure our needs are met. So if you ask me, celebrating her love solely on Mother’s Day isn’t enough. In fact, we should celebrate her endless devotion every chance we get… especially around the end of the year when she’s busier than ever, having everyone over, sweating over holiday meals and generally just making sure everyone’s having a good time! So I say, go ahead, give Mom big hugs, big kisses and a big Christmas gift, she deserves it!
