Over the weekend, I found out that a friend and her hubby had a fantastic experience at the Houston Rodeo & Livestock Show. From the sound of it, they had so much fun they are planning to go again and now they’ve got me all interested.

I pretty much grew up watching cowboy and Indian movies. To me, there’s something wildly romantic about horses, wide open plains, bull fights and rain dances. So I’m pretty sure I will enjoy going to a rodeo and seeing everything live and up close.

Now I’m itching to get my hands on some Houston Rodeo concert tickets so I can finally get a piece of the action. I’ve never been to a rodeo and I’d really love to go to one. Quite frankly, if I could take some time off from kids and family, I would be tagging along with my friends when they go to the rodeo again.

The thought is definitely very tempting to someone who grew up loving Western movies. I hear they also have some famous country and western singers performing live at the rodeo too. Wow, it’s something to really think about.
