If you’ve got toned arms, don’t be afraid to bare your biceps (even if you’re over 40, so what?). You know what’s really great is that we’ve got someone like Michelle Obama telling women the world over that it’s okay to bare their toned biceps even at formal events! Alleluia! Just when I’m getting disapproving looks from other moms for perpetually sporting the sleeveless look.

This babydoll dress with floral and aviary prints on black is the perfect spring/summer number for baring those biceps. The yellow trimming that runs the length of the Garden Babydoll dress by Joy Han is designed to give you a slimmer, more shapely look. For a more formal look, just throw on some heels and a black jacket and leave it unbuttoned to show off the beautiful artwork.

This Tella dress by Graham and Spencer in plum is incredibly flattering with a V neck on the front and back. The solid plum color below the empire waist gives it a slimmer, more balanced look. Love the color and the design is sexy without being too obvious.

You’ll have to agree this elegant cotton Jenn Long dress by Joy Han in contrast knit is very pretty. Adorning the bottom fringe of the dress is an intricate lacy embroidery that adds a touch of class. If you’re of average height and build, this dress will make you appear taller. Be sure you wear it with heels though, flats would kill the look!
