I went out this morning with all the good intentions of buying back tons of groceries so I can spend the rest of this long weekend cooking and eating in.
But all my good intentions came to naught 
. Why? Because the grocery store was closed and the shelves were empty at the one that was open. What a laugh!
Last week, the festive crowd must’ve swept the place clean and of course, it’s a holiday today so the store is not open. Silly me! I’ve come to take for granted that the stores at the mall never close, so I was in for quite a surprise.
So all my plans went out the window. I’ll have to go back again with my shopping list either tomorrow or the day after. I guess I’d better reprogram myself. After all, if we can have gas going out of stock, anything is possible, eh!!
