Chinese New Year @ Curve
Love to shop? Then subscribe to my RSS feed to be the first to find out what's hip and happenin' in the world of shopping. Thanks for visiting!
I’ve only breezed in and out of the Curve once or twice but not had a chance to watch any of the performances at the Center Court.
Their “Family Reunion” theme is very fitting since that’s what Chinese New Year is all about, family and friends.

The gazebo garden reminds me of the old Chinese movies. The red lanterns and colorful tassels lend a really festive air to the whole setting.
Red is, of course, the color of prosperity and good luck. You can’t really go wrong with it during Chinese New Year as long as you wear something red, stick something red on anything you’re giving as a gift and be ready with those red envelopes containing cash to give to all the kids you meet.

Kit this picture is beautiful! Do you have any Chinese music? I would love to hear some. Kit I wanted to tell you that I have 2 Chinese ladies in my ballet class on Monday and Wednesday nights. Rena is a plastic surgeon and Tuoya works on interiors of houses. Both their last names are Wong! Tuoya danced in Chinese ballet school in China when she was a young girl. Isn’t that cool
