I’ve been talking endlessly about going downtown to the Pavilion since it opened a couple of months ago. But one thing led to another and I just never found the time or the inclination to make the long drive into the city.
And when I finally got around to making the trip, it was well worth the traffic jams and gas money. The minute we walked into the Pavilion, we were treated to this!
Yes, not just a Christmas tree but a singing one at that! The lights on the tree are changing all the time from one brilliant color to another. Truly festive.
What I love even more is the mini-amphitheater giving a full view of the performance. You can see we took the top photo sitting on the stone steps of the amphiteater in air-conditioned comfort.
