I have to admit I have never really liked the grotesque rubbery look of Crocs. The first time I laid eyes on them, I swear they were the ugliest things I’ve ever seen.

And I still do… think they’re the ugliest things a person could ever wear. So when my best buddy told me that even she had invested in a pair and joined the Croc revolution, my jaw positively dropped!

I say ‘invested’ because although they look cheap, they’re not! They’re supposed to have some sort of podiatric benefit on your feet though I really can’t see how. Not when some kids have lately gotten their Crocs stuck in the teeth of elevators and had their poor toes cut off.

While my friend swears they’re so-oo comfortable, her husband has warned, “Don’t walk with me when you’re wearing those things! Walk on ahead and I’ll pretend I don’t know you!” Ouch! I’m afraid I have to agree with him there .
